Heat Pump Installation in Palm Bay and Brevard
Adding a heat pump to a home that does not have one, replacing an old gas-furnace setup, or putting a heat pump into an addition? We install across Brevard. Written quote with line items before we book the work.
How We Size a Heat Pump
We size with a Manual J load calculation, not by what was there before. Replacing a 3 ton with another 3 ton just because the old one was a 3 ton is how Brevard homes end up with oversized systems that short-cycle and never dehumidify.
What is included on a standard heat-pump install: outdoor condenser, indoor air handler matched to the condenser, refrigerant line set sized for the tonnage, low-voltage thermostat wiring, condensate drain run with proper trap and safety switch, electrical disconnect and inspection, pad or rack, refrigerant evacuation and charge to spec, commissioning runtime test, and manufacturer warranty registration filed for you.
Permit and inspection where required. Financing available through Wisetack and other partners. Same-day decisions on most applications.
What Actually Drives the Right-Sized Install
Tonnage matters
Smaller homes take less. Bigger homes take more. We measure rather than guess.
Single-stage vs 2-stage
2-stage runs longer at lower load. Better dehumidification. Quieter. Worth considering in coastal humidity.
Variable-speed air handler
Pairs with 2-stage and inverter compressors. Smoother temperatures across the house.
Coastal coil protection
Within a mile of the ocean or lagoon. Standard fins pit faster. Coastal-grade is the right default near salt water.
Strip-heat backup
Most Brevard heat-pump installs include a small strip-heat backup for cold snaps. Sized to your usage.
