Mini Split Installation in Palm Bay and Brevard
A mini split is the right answer when you need cooling for one space without running new ductwork. Garages, FROG rooms, additions, casitas, a single bedroom that runs hot. Florida Air installs across Brevard. Written quote before we book.
What a Standard Mini Split Install Includes
On a standard single-zone install: outdoor condenser unit, indoor head (wall, ceiling-cassette, or floor-mount), refrigerant and power line set, wall penetration with sleeve, condensate drain run, vacuum and charge to manufacturer spec, and commissioning with a runtime test. Permit, electrical disconnect, and pad as required.
We carry ComfortMaker, Mitsubishi, Daikin, LG, and Pioneer. Multi-zone systems with two or three indoor heads on one outdoor condenser are a different scope; we walk through your layout before quoting.
Our office is in Palm Bay 32905. From there a truck reaches most of Brevard within 30 to 45 minutes. Same-week install scheduling on most jobs.
Common Mini Split Applications in Brevard
Garage workshop or gym
Insulate the garage door and seal the gaps before sizing the unit. We will tell you if it is worth it first.
FROG (room above garage)
Most older Brevard FROGs run hot because the duct from the main system never balanced it. A dedicated mini split fixes it permanently.
Florida room or addition
Right-sized for the load. Heat-pump mode handles Brevard winters without strip heat.
Casita or guest house
Single-zone or multi-zone depending on layout.
Single bedroom that runs hot
Usually upstairs back bedrooms in two-story floor plans. Cheaper than rebalancing the whole duct system.
Beach condo replacement
Where ductwork is impractical. Coastal-grade equipment recommended.
